Broadhead Cases and Storage
A dull broadhead is a wounded animal. The point of a case is not display; it is keeping the cutting edge off other broadheads, off zippers, and off pack fabric. Three real products cover the entire category.
The main options
MTM Case-Gard Broadhead Box (BH-12)
MSRP USD 8 to 12. Twelve-slot foam case, screw-in point sits blade-up in its own slot. The standard 100-grain fixed broadhead case. Fits Slick Trick, Iron Will, G5 Montec, Muzzy Trocar, QAD Exodus. Does not fit large expandables.
Plano 3603 Broadhead Case
MSRP USD 12 to 18. Six-slot, deeper wells fit mechanicals and larger cut-on-contact heads like Cutthroat 200. Latching lid. Fine for the truck.
Slick Trick 6-Pack Foam Insert
Ships with Slick Trick broadhead packs. Not a case on its own, but slotted foam that slides into any small tackle box. Cheapest DIY option.
What bowhunters say
Rokslide broadhead-storage thread: a loose broadhead in a pack is the top cause of a dull edge. Everyone stores heads point-up in slotted foam and touches up the edge before every hunt.
