Slick Trick Broadheads
Slick Trick has manufactured four-blade compact fixed broadheads in Duncannon, Pennsylvania since 2005. Founder David Kronengold designed the original 1 inch cut Magnum around a short, wide-blade footprint that flies like a field point out of most well-tuned bows. Manufacturing is still done at the Pennsylvania shop.

Short ferrule, four short blades, alcatraz-cross alignment. The blade geometry means the shaft transitions smoothly from a small profile to the full cut, which pushes the drag point back and keeps trajectory close to field point through 40 yards. Blades are hardened stainless, not the replaceable-carbon-blade style.

Warranty and forum reputation
Rokslide whitetail broadhead threads point at Slick Trick as the easiest fixed head to tune out of the box. The consensus is that the short ferrule and blade profile hide 90 percent of small tune errors. Customer service is a phone call to Duncannon; replacement blades ship next day when a broadhead comes back damaged.
Common complaints
Blades are hardened enough that touch-up sharpening is a 15 minute job with a Work Sharp, not a 2 minute one. ArcheryTalk regulars note the Standard’s 1 inch cut is small for elk pass-through recovery blood trails; most jump to the Viper Trick or a mechanical for Western hunts.
